(VOVworld) – The Dien Bien Phu victory was a triumph not only for Vietnam but also for all of Indochina, said leaders of Laos and Cambodia at a seminar held on Thursday in Hanoi marking the 60^th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory. Under Secretary of State of the Cambodian Defense Ministry Chao Phally and Standing Deputy Head of the Lao Defense Ministry’s General Department of Logistics Phouvong Vongphom said that the victory demonstrated the solidarity among the three countries. They agreed that lessons learned from the Dien Bien Phu campaign should be applied in today’s context by young Indochinese.
