The fair, jointly organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and the People’s Committee of Da Nang, features 220 booths representing 150 businesses from 20 provinces and cities, along with enterprises, diplomatic missions, and international organizations from Russia, China, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia. Exhibits cover a wide range of sectors, including textiles, technology, agricultural products, handicrafts, fashion, logistics services, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) items.

A highlight of the fair is the Export Promotion and Business Networking Conference, where experts and businesses will discuss export strategies for 2025-2030. The conference focuses on opportunities in key markets like the United States, China, and Indonesia, as well as logistics solutions linked to the Da Nang Free Trade Zone, envisioned as a new growth driver for Central Vietnam’s exports.

Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Le Hoang Tai, said: “The fair is a practical and effective platform for expanding markets, fostering cooperation, and enhancing business competitiveness. It showcases the socio-economic achievements and investment potential of the Central and Central Highlands provinces, and promotes opportunities for cooperation with countries along the East-West Economic Corridor and in the Greater Mekong Sub-region, thereby contributing to national economic growth goals.”

At a time when Vietnam is striving to achieve its 2025 socio-economic development targets, including a GDP growth rate of 8.3-8.5%, tapping into the potential of key economic regions, particularly the East-West Economic Corridor, is of vital importance. The EWEC Fair creates opportunities to develop product value chains across the Central Coast, the Central Highlands, and the entire country, strengthening regional and international links along the corridor.
