(VOVWORLD) -National Tourism Year 2025 themed "Hue–ancient capital, new opportunities" is welcoming visitors as a launch ceremony will enliven a floating stage on the Huong River in Hue city on Tuesday evening.

An art program will showcase Vietnam’s tangible and intangible cultural heritages and signature tourism products, promote Hue Festival activities, and commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hue’s liberation on March 26.
800 entertainers will perform, along with international art troupes from Uzbekistan, China, South Korea, and Japan. The audience will be treated to a spectacular drone light shows, water drum and musical water displays, paragliders, and aerial performances featuring flying dragons.

The National Tourism Year activities will be divided into the four seasons’ programs. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Hue City’s People’s Committee, said, “Hue city will do its best to promote cultural values and traditional products to a wider public. This will be a breakthrough year in developing Hue’s tourism and service sector, strengthen its tourism links with other localities across the country, enhance Vietnam’s tourism brand, and solidify Hue as a premier tourism destination.”
