Cai Nuoc district in Ca Mau province has 10 mobile clinics, whose doctors and medical workers have treated 600 COVID-19 patients with mild or no symptoms, reducing the workload for local hospitals.
Vo Van Trieu, Chairman of Dong Thoi commune’s People’s Committee, said: “The district’s Party Committee and the Medical Center have equipped the mobile clinics with needed resources. They have oxygen cylinders, medical equipment, and essential medicines to treat patients. If the pandemic continues to spread, we will expand the scale of the Medical Center.”

Since December 6, 2021, Hanoi has recorded over 5,000 COVID-19 cases, the most in one month since the pandemic began.
Hanoi has opened 32 field hospitals in communes and wards and 27 mobile clinics with the capacity to treat 100,000 patients. 25 hospitals have installed oxygen systems with 3,200 outlets. All medical units at the communal, ward, and district level have been trained and connected to an application to manage and treat COVID-19 patients at home.
Pham Manh Cuong, a resident of Lang Ha ward, Dong Da district, says: “Setting up mobile clinics is a good policy. We also need stronger measures to punish violators of pandemic prevention measures who don’t wear a mask or who gather in large numbers.”
Hai Phong city has mobilized 4,000 medical staff to conduct COVID-19 testing and set up mobile clinics to treat COVID-19 patients at home.
