Election teams have posted voter lists at polling stations and staff are there during office hours to receive feedback from residents, he added.

Mr. Quang said: “This is a very important political event, so the best possible preparations must be made. As head of the residential area, I regularly follow mass media updates. I’ll encourage all the residents to cast their ballots in line with regulations and their civic duties.”

In Chợ Quán ward, preparations for the election have also been carried out in a systematic, well-organized manner. Mai Thi Kim Thu, head of Residential Area 12, said the neighborhood has coordinated with local police to review the voter list to ensure it’s accurate. Residents are well informed  of every candidate’s profile.

Ms. Thu said: “Elections are held once every 5 years, and it’s the duty of citizens to vote at their designated time. Residents are told to pay attention to the voting schedule to avoid overcrowding.”

Phan Thi Huynh Trinh, 65, who has lived in Residential Area 18 of Binh Thanh ward for more than 50 years, said the neighborhood has organized voter meetings to help residents learn about the candidates’ profiles. Most voters have expressed strong approval of the candidates, many of whom have long been active in local community activities.

Trinh said:  “Personally, I believe that if these candidates are elected, they will help people, support people facing difficulties, promote a new cultural environment for children, and pay attention to the interests of the elderly. I have great confidence in them.”

With thorough preparations at the grassroots level and strong support from residents, Election Day on March 15 is expected to be a nationwide celebration as voters exercise their rights, fulfill their responsibilities, and place their trust in individuals who will represent their will and aspirations.
