(VOVWORLD) - The event "Branded goods promotion – City sale" is taking place in many districts in Ho Chi Minh City. Sponsored by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies, it is part of the “Concentrated promotion program – Shopping Season 2024”, which has created an interesting shopping experience.

The promotion program, running until Sunday, features 500 famous brands from around the world, including Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Polo, Lacoste, Adidas, and Puma.
The Department of Industry and Trade and the Department of Tourism are coordinating the event at the SC Vivo City Shopping Center while the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair is being held at SECC, offering promotions on both goods and tourism products. The expanded program offers discounts of up to 80% along with many promotional gifts and vouchers.
Le Huynh Minh Tu, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Industry and Trade, said: “We have opened an information portal on promotional items for people to register and buy things. We are cooperating with payment apps so people can try cashless transactions. A transportation company is offering discounts on travel to shopping centers.”

In addition to discounts of up to 80% on branded cosmetics, perfumes, fashion, watches, handbags, dress shoes, sport shoes, suitcases, health care, and home products, many major brands are also giving out unconditional cashback vouchers and thousands of attractive gifts worth millions of dollars.
Cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and businesses to give consumers branded, genuine, high-quality, low-priced products has stimulated demand, promoted economic growth, and made the city an attractive tourism and shopping destination.
