Impressive opening night of Hue Festival 2022

(VOVWORLD) - A unique art programme and a unique Ao Dai (traditional long dress) fashion show officially kicked off week-long Hue Festival 2022 in Thua Thien - Hue on June 25 evening.
 A series of activities will be held throughout the festival to popularise distinctive culture, hospitality and tourism potential of Hue which is the former imperial city of Vietnam under the feudal regime. |
 Art performances at the opening ceremony recreate the glamour and breathtaking beauty of the former imperial city. |
 The performances praise Hue as an ancient and heritage land with distinctive customs. |
 They also demonstrate Hue’s aspirations to become a green, environmentally friendly and sustainable city. |
 Modern lighting technology combined with 3D mapping effects recreates an ancient but very modern city on the chosen path to successful development. |
 Ngo Mon (Noon) gate is recreated through 3D mapping effects. |
 Models strut down the catwalk, showing off the charming beauty of Ao Dai – the traditional long dress of Vietnamese women. |
