(VOVworld) – Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union coordinated with District 6’s Youth Union to launch the 2015 Youth Month at Binh Phu Park on Sunday.

This year’s event focuses on Vietnam’s major holidays and festivals, education, youth creativity, new rural development, environmental protection, and climate change.

More than 800 youth union members in Da Nang City attended a launch ceremony for the Year of Culture and Urban Civilization 2015 hosted by Da Nang City’s Youth Union. The ceremony included an art exchange, a review of volunteer activities during the city’s Youth Month, and campaigns to clean up the environment and popularize traffic safety.

The Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union launched an emulation movement for youth of Dak Lak’s ethnic groups. The province held activities to help poor patients, mobilize blood donations, present gifts to the poor and social beneficiaries, and provide scholarships to disadvantaged students.
