300 Vietnamese citizens brought home from US, Japan

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese authorities and Vietnam Airlines coordinated with US agencies to bring home 300 Vietnamese citizens via San Francisco, and Narita, Japan, on Wednesday and Thursday.

The passengers came from multiple US states and Japanese localities, most of them children under 18, stranded tourists, students with no accommodations, workers with expired contracts, and other hardship cases.

After landing at Cam Ranh International Airport, all crew members and passengers had their body temperatures checked and were quarantined.
