3GF to discuss energy, urban development, natural resources
(VOVworld) - The 2016 Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) Summit to be held in Denmark this June will focus on energy, urban development, and natural resources, said 3GF Special Envoy Geert Aagaard Andersen.

Informing the media about the summit’s agenda in Hanoi on Tuesday during a working visit to Vietnam, Geert said the summit will scrutinise how to reduce emissions in the energy field, ways to promote sustainability in urban areas, and ways to reduce water usage and the loss of forest areas.
He highlighted green-growth cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark and mentioned Vietnam’s national strategy of green growth.
Through 3GF, Denmark hopes to share its own experience and achievements in green growth.
At the 2014 3GF summit, the Vietnamese delegation played a key role in developing the initiative “Race to the Top” to create sustainable apparel value chains, which was piloted in Vietnam in the form of public-private cooperation.
