(VOV) – Hai Phong has allocated nearly 40 billion VND to support 100,000 policy beneficiaries and poor people in the city.
Nguyen Bach Phai, Director of Hai Phong city’s Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said: "The poor and people near the poverty line will be supported with 200,000 VND from the city authorities. They will also receive new year gifts from districts and organizations in the city".
On this occasion, Hai Phong city’s Fatherland Front will present 26,000 gifts worth 300,000 VND each to poor households.
