500kV Circuit-3 power transmission line project significant in many aspects: PM
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has praised the strong spirit and determination of Electricity of Vietnam, the National Power Transmission Corporation, experts, engineers, and workers of the power sector and people in completing the 500kV Circuit-3 power transmission line project as scheduled.

Speaking at the project’s inauguration ceremony in Hung Yen on Thursday, the Prime Minister said the completion of the project marks a milestone in implementing key national projects in the coming time.
He said: "The 500kV Circuit-3 power transmission line linking Quang Trach in the central province of Quang Binh and Pho Noi in the northern province of Hung Yen holds special significance in many aspects of economics, politics, society, national defense and security. The project has a strategic meaning in ensuring national energy security, easing the power shortage in the north, and adding around 30 billion KWh of electricity annually."
"This is a success of trust, great solidarity, joint efforts, unanimity, and the engagement of the entire political system under the leadership of the Party. It demonstrates dynamism, creativity, tireless efforts of thousands of engineers, workers and volunteers amid complex terrain and severe weather,' said the Prime Minister.
He asked ministries and sectors to learn from the project’s lessons to make key national projects more effective.
