(VOVworld)_ The government has put in place a program of action on implementing the Party’s resolution on enhancing scientific and technological development in national industrialization and modernization in the context of the socialist market economy and international integration. The program sets out 6 tasks including fine-tuning the mechanism, coordinating the management and organization of scientific and technological activities, promoting the nation’s potential, enhancing the market and boosting international cooperation and integration in this field. Under the program, the government will revise the Law on Science and Technology, develop guidance documents, and encourage the private sector to co-operate with the State in setting up an Investment Fund to support the scientific and technological development.
