(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese War Veterans Association in the Czech Republic on Sunday marked the 72nd anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army on December 22nd and reviewed the Association’s two years of operation.

Duong Dinh Tuy, Chairman of Association, said it has expanded in two years from just only two branches in Prague and Karlovy Vary to 8 branches with approximately 500 members. Next year, the Association will continue to host activities to orient people towards the homeland.
Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Truong Manh Son hailed the enthusiastic and unified spirit of the veterans and the Association’s contributions to the local community.
