BRICS brings together the five major economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa.

As BRICS’s chairmanship this year, India has themed “Building Responsive, Inclusive and Collective Solutions”.

During the 2-day event, leaders will discuss prospects and challenges to the global growth and the group’s role in leading the world growth and internal cooperation.

The BRICS Summit comes at a time when the world economy including that of BRICS' members grows slowly, requiring further internal cooperation.

Other agenda include global issues such as the crisis in Syria and the fight against terrorism.
