(VOVoworld) –Da Nang has launched a contest on designing and producing souvenirs and gifts for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Year 2017.

The contest, which will run to March, is aimed at promoting images and features of Da Nang to international friends, especially those in the Asia-Pacific.

According to the municipal administration, the souvenirs must impress APEC participants and reflect the city’s commitment to protecting the environment and building a ‘green city’ by 2025.

Da Nang is chosen as host of many important activities of APEC in 2017.
