(VOVworld)- On Sunday the Arab Leauge (AL) dismissed Israel’s demand to be acknowledged as a Jewish state.
According to the AL Foreign Minister’s meeting in Cairo, the AL supports the Palestinian leaders’ goal of ending Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory.
Meanwhile, Israel continues to build more Jewish houses on Palestinian land. US Secretary of State John Kerry is promoting an Israel-Palestine framework agreement for direct talks after April 29. Borders, security, settlement houses, Jerusalem, and Palestinian refugees are topics that the two sides continue to disagree on.
