ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting enters the last working day

(VOVWORLD) -The 53rd ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM 53) entered the last working day on Saturday, with important events such as the 27th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF), ASEAN-EU foreign ministers’ meeting, and ASEAN-India foreign ministers’ meeting.

The ARF is an important platform for security dialogue in the Asia-Pacific region. With ASEAN in the central position, the ARF has become a key driving force in building trust among regional countries through diversified initiatives to promote trust and preventive diplomacy.

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh will chair an international press conference after the meetings conclude. Some 20 AMM and related meetings have been organised in the form of video conference from Wednesday to Saturday this week, involving 27 delegations from four continents.
