ASEAN Para Games: Vietnamese swimmers set six records on Wednesday

(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnamese swimming team won 11 golds and set six new records on Wednesday, the 4th competition day of the Southeast Asian Paralympic Games (ASEAN Para Games 12), in Cambodia.

Trinh Thi Bich Nhu became the most impressive athlete when she scored a "hat-trick" of three gold medals in a day.

Her teammate, Vi Thi Hang, also won her 4th gold medal at the games in the S7 women's 50m freestyle with a record of 36 seconds 46, far ahead Changtha Thoeun of the host country Cambodia, who won silver for 51 seconds 71.

As of Wednesday morning, the Vietnamese athletes with disabilities won 130 medals, including 37 golds, ranking third after Indonesia and Thailand.
