Book on Vietnamese life debuts in Singapore

(VOVworld) - A book exploring contemporary Vietnamese life was released this week by Select Books of Singapore.

Titled “It’s a Living: Work and Life in Vietnam Today”, the book includes 67 interviews conducted by Associate Professor Gerald Sasges and his students. It engages a broad range of Vietnamese, living in Vietnam and abroad, on their feelings about work, life and getting ahead. According to Gerald Sasgas, the most important message of the book is that every profession is of equal importance. Those involved in the interview included not only CEOs and factory managers but also garbage collectors, mobile phone saleswomen, advertising executives, motorbike drivers, and farmers - all wishing for a better life in Vietnam.
