(VOVWORLD) - Political and ideological work must always be prioritized, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said while attending the 1st Party Congress of Thanh Xuan commune in Can Tho city on Monday.

He underscored the importance of strengthening unity and consensus, identifying Party building, political system development, and ideological work as critical tasks in the current period.
“No matter how the world changes, cadres and Party members must stay determined and persistent, and remain confident in the Party’s leadership.”
Chairman Man said the Party and State’s goal in merging provinces and cities is to create new development space for Vietnam and to build a modern public administration system that better serves the people.
He called on Can Tho authorities to pay special attention to personnel work, particularly in training and appropriately assigning highly qualified human resources to meet new responsibilities.
