Cambodia organizes 3 Committees on border issues with neighboring countries

(VOVworld) – Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen signed a decision on December 17 to establish 3 Committees on land border demarcation with neighboring countries.

The Committee on Cambodia-Vietnam border demarcation consists of 33 members headed by Van Kim Hong, Senior Minister and Chairman of Cambodia’s Border Committee.
Other members include governors of provinces and Commanders of military stations bordering Vietnam. The other committees are in charge of border issues with Thailand and Laos.
They will conduct surveys, studies, and negotiations on border demarcation and marker planting with Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos.
