(VOVworld) – The Defence Ministry’s steering board for the border demarcation and marker planting met on Monday to review the project to increase and upgrade border markers along its border with Laos.

Over the past 8 years, Vietnamese and Lao border provinces have completed their field planting of 834 border markers at 792 positions and 168 stakes at 113 positions. 
Vietnam and Laos have finalised a draft protocol on their borderline and border markers, along with attached documents, recognizing the attainment of border demarcation.
