(VOVworld) - A high-ranking delegation led by Chairman of the National Assembly of Cambodia Heng Samrin will pay a two-day visit to Vietnam this Saturday.

During the 2-day visit, Heng Samrin will also attend a ceremony to mark the 35th victory day of the Southwestern border war and Cambodia's victory over the Pol Pot genocidal regime (January 7).
The visit is made at the invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, according to a communiqué released by the National Assembly Committee for External Relations on January 2.
Vietnam and Cambodia established diplomatic relations in 1967 and have developed their relations under the motto “good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability.”
