Can Tho city will build a high-tech industrial zone to promote high-tech application in agriculture towards a mass production.

In the 1^st phase from 2017 to 2020, we’ll focus on investing in infrastructure, inviting companies to the zone, and training from 500 to 1,000 experts and farmers on high-tech agriculture.

In the following 5 years, it will transfer technology and production methods of rice, vegetable, fruits, and cattle.

Dao Anh Dung, Vice Chairman of Can Tho city People’s Committee, said: “The consultancy agency has finalized the project to establish a high-tech application industrial zone. We’ll evaluate the project’s practicality and feasibility.”
