Children join talks with Party, State leaders
(VOVworld) - Children have submitted a number of amendments to the Law on Child Protection, Care, and Education at their national forum which ended in Hanoi on Friday.
Six groups of child representatives made recommendations during a meeting with Party and State leaders, including Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, and head of the National Assembly Committee for Social Affairs Truong Thi Mai. Vice State President Nguyen Thi Doan praised the children’s careful preparation of their questions and recommendations, demonstrating intelligence and creativity. She urged the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs to pay more attention to the children’s voices and expand information campaigns targeting families, schools, and wider society.
