Japan ranked third with 8 gold, 3 silver, and 4 bronze medals. Australia, the UK, South Korea, the US, Italy, Canada, and Germany were in the top 10.
In badminton, despite playing impressive sets against their opponents on Wednesday, Vietnam’s Nguyen Thuy Linh and Le Duc Phat were eliminated after losing to Zhang Beiwen of the US and H. S. Prannoy of India.
