(VOVworld)- China and the UK held their fifth strategic defense talks in Beijing on Thursday, vowing closer bilateral military ties. Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Wang Guanzhong and Vice Chief of the British Defense Staff Stuart Peach co-chaired the one-day talks. Wang said military ties between the two countries have deepened in recent years. Their armed forces have maintained high-level exchanges and communication.
