Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said he hopes Chinese associations will continue coordinating with Vietnam to increase friendly exchanges between the two peoples, especially the younger generations.

Mr. Trong said the two sides have agreed to elevate their relationship to a new height via various cooperation mechanisms and dialogue channels in which the role of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is crucial.

Li Xiaolin said it was an honour to receive the Friendship Order and pledged that her association will continue to do all it can to nurture the Vietnam-China friendship.
