(VOVworld) – A classroom named after President Ho Chi Minh has made its debut at the Labor and Social Relations Institute in Moscow where exhibits of photos, magazines, newspapers, and videos about President Ho Chi Minh are on display. At the debut ceremony on Tuesday, delegates reviewed President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary activities, as well as recent milestones in Russian-Vietnamese relations.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Pham Xuan Son said the opening of the classroom contributes to consolidating and developing the traditional friendship, strategic partnership, and mutual trust between the two countries. Professor Kodzkin E.M, Director of Moscow’s Institute of Labor and Social Relations, said: "We open a classroom named after President Ho Chi Minh who laid the foundation for and significantly contributed to the development of Vietnamese-Russian relations. This shows our Institute’s priority in developing its strategic cooperation with Vietnam. This is a classroom for our students, not a museum, although it displays many objects featuring Russian-Vietnamese relations. Our students can learn more about President Ho Chi Minh through the many objects, materials, and photos displayed in the classroom."

On this occasion, Russian researcher on Vietnamese studies and honorable president of the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship Association Evghenhi Glazunov donated to the Institute a book he just translated from Vietnamese into Russian entitled “When the first Vietnamese entered the Kremlin”. This is a memoir by Vu Ky, personal secretary to President Ho Chi Minh, about Ho Chi Minh’s first visit to Russia as the President of Vietnam.
