(VOVWORLD) -The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has launched activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1968 General Offensive and Uprising (Spring Mau Than 1968).

They will organize massive political drives to help Youth Union members and young people understand the significance of the historic victory in the national struggle to liberate southern Vietnam and unite the nation.
Organizers said the communication campaign will rekindle patriotism, revolutionary spirit, the sense of self-reliance, and creativity of Youth Union members in national construction and defense.
Besides exchanges with witnesses and visits to historical sites, activities will be promoted via social networks.
