(VOVWORLD) - Britain has expanded its sanctions list against Russia by adding 30 new designations. According to the updated lists on Friday, London blacklisted 70 Russian ships, which are prohibited from accessing UK ports.

New Zealand unveiled new sanctions, including significant lowering of the price cap on Russian oil from 60 USD to 47.6 USD per barrel. It has expanded its blacklist to include 19 vessels and 19 individuals and entities, who are accused of being involved in supplying chemical weapons and alternative payment systems for Russia. Other sanctions target several intermediaries in North Korea and Iran.
Japan said it will impose new sanctions on more than 60 Russian individuals and entities and three Belarusian organizations linked to the Ukraine conflict. Among sanctioned entities are the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation, the Tula arms manufacturer, and the Alabuga special economic zone. The measures include restrictions on payments and capital transactions.
French Acting Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said that the European Union will announce a new package of sanctions against Russia next Monday, in coordination with the United States. This marks the first coordination since President Donald Trump returned to the White House.
