(VOVworld) - President Tran Dai Quang has urged the Court Academy to develop itself into a high-quality judicial training and scientific research centre.

Addressing the opening of the Academy’s 2016-17 academic year in Hanoi on Tuesday, President Quang asked the institution to expand cooperation with prestigious universities and research centers from other ASEAN member countries and developed nations around the world to improve the quality of teaching and learning and increase exchanges of lecturers and students.

President Quang reminded the academy to focus on developing high-quality human resources, building a strong, transparent and democratic judicial system, and improving its apparatus.

The Court Academy was established last July under the Vietnam Supreme People’s Court.
