COVID-19: 15 new cases reported in Vietnam on Saturday morning
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reported 15 new COVID-19 infection cases in the last 12 hours as of Saturday morning. The 15 cases include 1 in Hanoi and and 14 in Bac Ninh province. Among 3,152 cases reported in Vietnam, 2,560 patients have fully recovered and 35 died.
Vietnam's National Cancer Hospital known as K hospital in Hanoi has imposed lockdown on its 3 branches after several cases of COVID-19 reported in the hospital. Disease prevention measures are being strengthened said Pham Van Binh, Deputy Director of the hospital:
“11 positive cases which were detected show no signs of the disease. The K hospital will test all the patients quarantined at the hospital. Around 4,000 samples will be collected from patients, patient caregivers, and hospital staff and doctors at the 3 branches of the hospital. We have worked out plans to take care of, treat, and ensure the lives of the 4,000 people including 1,700 inpatients,' said Binh.
