(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam confirmed more than 14,800 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
Hanoi recorded the highest number of new cases, more than 1,900. It is followed by Tây Ninh province and Hai Phong city.
Vietnam has recorded 1,666,545 cases since COVID-19 hit the country early last year. 1,259,614 patients have recovered and 31,418 have died.
Nearly 99% of the population have been vaccinated.
