Craft villages vital to rural livelihoods, President says
(VOVWORLD) - Traditional craft villages have long served as a reliable source of livelihood, a stable foundation for rural workers, and an essential pillar of social welfare, State President Luong Cuong said on Tuesday during a meeting with outstanding artisans from across the country.

The event marked the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam Traditional Craft Villages Association.
President Cuong emphasized the importance of strengthening vocational training, fostering a strong spirit of entrepreneurship among rural youth, and improving both the material and spiritual well-being of those living in craft villages.
He called for greater support for innovation, protection of craftsmen’s legitimate rights, and the creation of favorable conditions that enable artisans and skilled workers to maximize their potential.
The President also underscored the need to prioritize environmental protection and promote sustainable, green, and circular economic models in traditional craft villages.
