The athletes followed a route from Hoanh Mo border gate to Binh Lieu Palace Hotel and back to Hoanh Mo border gate, covering a total distance of approximately 30km.

Pham Duc Thang,  Chairman of the Binh Lieu district’s People’s Committee, said that the event is part of  a friendship exchange agreement between the Binh Lieu district Party Committee (Vietnam) and the Fangcheng district Party Committee (China).

"Cyclists from both countries experience the scenic routes from Hoanh Mo down to Binh Lieu town while fostering exchanges and concretizing cooperation programs initiated during the early spring meetings of Secretaries of the provincial Party Committees."

"It follows the official recognition of the Hoanh Mo-Dongzhong border gate pair on June 25, 2024. On February, 25, 2025, we officially launched the cross-border entry and exit, import-export activities, and the development of a commercial border gate pair here," said Thang.
