Defence industry should become a spearhead of national industry: PM
(VOVWORLD) - The defense industry should serve as a spearhead of Vietnam’s national industrial sector, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said during a working session in Hanoi on Saturday with the Ministry of National Defense and other relevant ministries and sectors on the outcomes of high-tech defense industry research and production.

Building on last year’s achievements and experiences, he urged greater inter-agency cooperation to advise the Party and State on policies that will further modernize the defense industry to meet requirements in the new context.
PM Chinh stressed the importance of harnessing synergy among ministries and agencies to develop a modern defense industry, making it a key pillar of national industrial growth.
