(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has expressed his delight at the fine developing friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam. He added that this would contribute to the socio-economic development in each country as well as maintaining peace and stability while boosting cooperation and prosperous development in the region and the world.

Minh made the remarks at a Thursday ceremony at Laos’s Embassy in Hanoi to mark Laos’s 38^th Independence Day. He congratulated the Lao government and people on their achievements in various fields in the implementation of the 9^th Congress resolution of the Laotian People’s Revolutionary Party and the country’s 7^th 5-year socio-economic development plan, while maintaining political stability and a high economic growth.
