The agreement was signed in Hanoi on Thursday by VOV President Do Tien Sy and Director General of MTVA Dániel Papp.
The two officials also shared insights on the development of the press and public information services in their respective country.
Mr. Sy highlighted the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Hungary over the past 75 years.
He added that VOVWorld has conducted various interviews with scholars, students, and professionals who have studied and worked in Hungary, about their affection for Hungary, its culture, and people.
“We believe that the history, culture, and natural beauty of each nation can serve as powerful inspiration for our media agencies to collaborate, share information, and bring these unique aspects to broader audiences in Vietnam and Hungary, thus promoting the strong relationship between the two countries,” said the VOV President.
