Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan told his Bulgarian counterpart and Finance Minister Simeon Diankov during Nhan’s official visit to the country that Vietnamese and Bulgarian agencies should work more closely to launch new programs and projects. The Bulgarian leader said economic relations will continue to develop, as Bulgaria’s big businesses are paying greater attention to the Vietnam market. Diankov encouraged implementation of the two countries’ planned educational, cultural, and art cooperation programs.

The same day, Nhan met with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nicolay Mladenov and toured Sopharma pharmaceutical company’s injection factory and Sofia General University’s genetic research center.
