Talking to locals, the Deputy Prime Minister shared that in 2023, the country has overcome many challenges and added resources to well implement social security policies.

He praised Hoa Binh as a bright spot in hunger eradication and poverty reduction, with the poverty rate decreasing by more than 3% compared to 2022, a praiseworthy number that not all localities can do.

The Deputy Prime Minister said he hopes that Hoa Binh province will continue to mobilize businesses and philanthropists to continue to do a good job of taking care of the national contributors and the vulnerable.

He requested the province to actively implement key transport projects, especially the expressway project connecting with Hanoi, and strongly attract investors to jointly develop the locality.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024, Hoa Binh province has delivered gifts worth 815,000 USD to 47,000 poor and near-poor households.
