Units must mobilize maximum personnel and equipment and coordinate closely to mitigate damage within the next two days, ensuring the safety of residents and frontline forces, said Mr. Dung.

The Deputy Prime Minister said: “We need to carefully evaluate reservoir operations to ensure safety. Provincial task forces must be deployed directly to vulnerable areas to lead timely responses. Heavy rain is forecast to continue over the next two days.”

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested Khanh Hoa province to propose construction plans for an expressway connecting Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong.

He presented Khanh Hoa with 1.9 million USD from the central government’s 2025 contingency budget for emergency flood recovery.
