(VOVworld) – US President Donald Trump on Friday signed two executive actions to rebuild the military and to band refugees from entering the US.

The actions were signed during a Pentagon swearing-in ceremony for Secretary of Defense James Mattis, in which President Trump promised to begin a great rebuilding of the armed services of the United States. As a result, the US Department of Defense will have the budget for new planes, ships and other resources. Mr. Trump also ordered a 4-month suspension of the US Refugee Admissions Program, and a permanent prohibition on issuing visas to some Syrian nationals.
