(VOVworld) – The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea fired two ballistic missiles off its east coast on Sunday.

Media in Japan and the Republic of Korea reported that it has been the second test of short-range rockets and missiles since Thursday. The Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism reported no damage to vessels operating on the Japanese sea and airplane in the area.
The Republic of Korea’s Yonhap newspaper on Sunday quoted officials at the Office of Joint Chiefs of Staff of the South Korean military that the two Scud-type missiles flew 500 kilometers and landed in waters between North Korea and Japan.
