Emergency relief provided to people affected by Typhoon Kalmaegi

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam Red Cross Society has decided to allocate 114,000 USD worth of cash and goods as emergency relief to people in Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Quang Ngai provinces, which have suffered heavy damage from Typhoon Kalmaegi and its aftermath.

The funding is drawn from the Central Red Cross Society's relief account opened at the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) and the aid of the "Clean Drinking Water for the Community" project sponsored by Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) through the Americares organization.
