In the first nine months of this year, freight trains departing from Guangxi heading to Vietnam have transported a total of 26,000 TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) of export goods.

This marks a year-on-year surge of 173% and a 33% increase compared to last year’s total export volume, contributing to stabilizing regional industrial supply chains and boosting trade between the two countries.

Freight transportation from Nanning station in China to An Vien station in Vietnam takes only 14 hours, ensuring same-day delivery of goods. The number of railway trips has increased from 5 to 14 days per week. Each train's haulage capacity has also increased from 1,000 to 1,300 tons.
