UNESCO Bangkok Director discusses future of education in Aisa Pacific (Source: unescobkk.org)

(VOVworld) – Education experts convened at a conference held by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Bangkok yesterday, to discuss the future of education in the Asia-Pacific region after 2015. UNESCO said the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Education for All (EFA) programs will end in 2015. The two programs are an integral part of the national development strategy of most of the countries in the region, and many great achievements have been gained. But achieving all the targets of the programs worldwide is an ongoing challenge.
