Prime Minister Kishida said that as the incumbent President of the G7 in 2023, Japan will lead efforts to achieve the goals set out at the Hiroshima summit.

During the three days of meetings, the G7 leaders had 10 sessions on topics and three G7 “outreach” sessions with leaders of eight invited countries including Vietnam, Australia, the Republic of Korea, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Cook Islands, and Comoros.

On the sidelines of the summit, a series of bilateral and multilateral high-level talks took place, including the Quad summit and the US-Japan-Korea trilateral summit.
