The Nghia Tru commune Party Committee was established on the basis of merging the three Party Committees of Long Hung commune, Nghia Tru commune and Vinh Khuc commune. The Congress set out the main directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the next five-year term, with a vision to 2040. It aims at an average growth rate of 13-15% and 2-3 million tourists per year.

Party General Secretary To Lam addressed the Congress, saying “The central task of the new term is to develop the economy quickly, sustainably, with a focus and key points. I propose that the Party Committee focus on three major orientations. They include urbanization coupled with high-quality services, taking advantage of its proximity to the capital city to adopt a reasonable planning of the land adjacent to major roads to form urban support service areas."

"Efforts should be made to provide commercial services, form agricultural markets, service craft villages, and agricultural logistics centers, and gradually standardize urban infrastructure, traffic systems, water supply and drainage, lighting, and parks to become a ward in the future.”

The Party leader stressed the need to develop specific, high-quality agriculture, restructure labor, increase income, in parallel with economic restructuring, focus on vocational training, digital and business skills among young people and women, and encourage startups in creative agricultural services on the spot.

General Secretary Lam especially requested localities to ramp up administrative reform, build a clean and strong commune party committee in all aspects, and renew leadership methods.
